After nearly nine months of planning, this past weekend we went to Kansas City for the Elliott family reunion. It’s been a little over three years since the last reunion. Early last fall my cousin Amanda and I began planning to have another reunion here in Wichita at the end of June, but do to conflicts (and what seemed like lack of interest) we moved it to the KC area where almost everyone lives. Amanda’s mom and stepdad offered to host the event. Family members traveled in from Houston, Denver and of course my side of the group from Winfield and Wichita. Even though everyone didn’t make it we still had a great time!!!

2 of the 3 remaining Elliott sisters (aunt Marie and my grandma Norma)
These two ladies come from a very large family. There were 11 children, so you can imagine how many cousins there are running around . . . and the amount of drama a family that size can (and still) has!!!
several generations of the Elliott Family ladies
Here’s little Bridget helping Grant work out!!!
Even though it was hot outside everyone had fun!!!
We tried to get a few generational shots . . . sisters
next generation of cousins
Here are the ones that were lucky enough to marry into the family!
Everyone brought old pictures to share and Greg even put together a video of pictures he scanned that had belonged to his mother. Just for fun we tried to recreate this pose from 1983.
I think Grant {and Jeff} enjoyed the slot machines most of all!!!
Thanks for a great weekend Elliott family!!!
